Went for briefing at MICA this morning. Pleasantly surprised that the HR lady and interviewers remember my name. Briefing went well, signed the letter of appointment and some secrecy art forms. After which, in the afternoon, went for site recce. Had to walk to Padang then Raffles City and the bus picked us up from there to Jurong East then to Toa Payoh hdb hub. Reached MICA only at 4pm. But then who cares la, since I'm paid for the site recce.

Spoke to this guy who has the same dislect name as me. He was from tpjc also, a year older than us, now in NUS mech engine. i asked him whats the difference between ntu mech and nus mech (find topic to talk ma)

his reply: ntu mech is sort of like for elites.
me: elites?
him: ya, harder to get in la, so its better, more elites.

im quite stunned la. firstly, in the first place i'm asking for difference, you know, like in curriculum. secondly, the definitions of elites have been broadened. lastly, i always have the impression that nus engine better than ntu.

i have another briefing on the 21st for liaison officers.
