I am so late with posting photos! went for a Noh lecture demonstration last thursday with the jap music studies people.. dated yifang and angie out fer dinner before that so we went to the Soup Spoon! the mushroom soup was BITTER. thank goodness i went for the pot pie, which was totally toothsome!!
Couldnt take any good photos of the Noh performance cause we were seated quite behind..but i took this scary photo:
it was the opening performance. Together with the music, it was kinda eerie. It was about a ghost reflecting on his sinful life as a hunter. Becasue he destroyed lives, he was suffering in hell. I thought the lecture was quite worth the money because we really got to understand Noh at a deeper level
